The Court hoards nothing. What the realm pays in royalties flows back to those who hold its Lords.

The Pool Fills

A portion of eligible royalties is allocated to the holders' pool in the Court's distribution wallet.

03

The Scribes Weigh

At each epoch snapshot, every eligible wallet's Lords and rarity weights are recorded in the ledger.

The Pool

When the collection generates eligible secondary-market royalty revenue, a portion of that revenue is allocated to a royalty pool for Ink Lord holders. The pool is then distributed among eligible holders according to the rarity weighting of the Lords they own. The more activity the collection generates in eligible secondary markets, the greater the potential pool available for distribution.

II

Rarity Weighting

Your Lord's rarity determines your share of the pool. Rather than distributing the available royalty revenue equally across every Lord, Ink Lords uses rarity-based weighting to determine each eligible NFT's proportion of the distribution. A higher-rarity Lord carries a greater weighting and can represent a larger share of the royalty pool than a lower-rarity Lord — and holding more Lords compounds your total weight.

III

An Example

If two holders own Lords with different rarity weights, their respective claims on the royalty pool will not necessarily be equal. The Lord with the higher assigned rarity weighting receives a proportionally larger share of the distribution, assuming both NFTs are eligible under the applicable distribution rules. Rarity is an active part of the Ink Lords ecosystem — not simply a visual ranking.

IV

No Promises, Only Ink

The royalty pool depends on the actual eligible royalty revenue generated by the project. There is no fixed or guaranteed amount that holders will receive, and the value of any distribution will depend on the amount of eligible revenue generated during the relevant period and the rarity-weighted distribution structure.

Every trade in the realm feeds the pool. The realm trades on OpenSea.
